Tour day 21
Today started out great. Temperature around 55 degrees. No wind to speak of. Wind picked up late in the day but did not impact it negatively. Sunny all day. Here's the weather report and itinerary. It's back on the freeway but the roads were in great shape for a smooth ride. Yes more fields that didn't end. More plants to process pigs or cattle. Yes more watering rigs for the fields. A road that goes on forever. Trains that dont end. Ranch's down all roads. Aw Kansas. You think riding up these hills it will crest and be downhill. Wrong. Just another one. Riding down these roads that never end or so it seems. Well today was special in more ways than one. The first sag ( rest area ) was at The Dalton gang hideout. Crossroads picked up the tab. How nice. Very interesting and educational. They were train robbers who were successful at that. Tried a bank robbery and got killed. Should have stuck to trains. Here are some pics.
