Tour day 30

Today was a great day. Not to much wind and started out around 66 degrees. It did get up to 86 degrees towards the end of the ride of 76 miles. Was kind of hurting towards the end but was ok and glad to get in air conditioning. In Quincy Illinois which is our 7th state line. Crossed the mighty Mississippi river. Lots of flooding. Here is the weather report and itinerary.

As far as lots of climbing there was not. We were slowly descending with some hills but were achievable. Here are a few pictures leading up to our one and only sag at 32 miles.

When we reached sag it reflected that we had road 2000 miles. Quite a. Accomplishment and only 1400 to go.

The remaining 44 miles were uneventful but took a few pictures.

Liked the sign. To get over to Quincy we had to traverse the east to west bridge. Had 2 way travel but there was just enough room for us. The bridge we would have traveled was flooded.

Tried to give you an idea how large the river actually is but this pictures doesnt do justice. Flooded on both banks as you can see. Tomorrow is 106 miles to Springfield Illinois. This is our official 3rd century. Check out relive for an idea of the ride.

Thanks again for following.
