Tour day 37

Today started out with rain. That lasted a couple of hours. Warm though about 67 degrees. No pictures during that time unfortunately. Some great stuff out there especially since we entered Ohio. Heading to Marysville and 105 miles and crosswind and some tailwind. Yes. Here's the days itinerary and weather reports.

Yes flash flood watch. Only picture I took prior to our first sag or rest stop was the sign entering Ohio.

That's Charlie and Linda. What a surprise at our first sag at 43 miles. Friends and family of Tom and Greg met us there. Home made cookies and Buckeyes. Yum.

I mentioned flooding. The rivers were over the banks and created waterfalls.

Fields were also flooded.  Very bad year for the farmers.

Found this little guy in the road. Stopped a van from almost running him over. Put him on the side of the road to see another day.

Here are some pictures of the area.

This is a war memorial. Did it right.

Today was a pretty good day of riding considering the rain and I broke another spoke that I road on for many miles. That meant my brake was rubbing on the rim which made it even more difficult. Like it hard. Put another rim and tire on. Hope tomorrow is not as difficult. 9th state line crossed and the last century on paper. Might add a couple miles to those close to 100 miles. We shall see. Wooster Ohio and 97 miles and some hills is our next stop. Here is relive.
