Tour day 44

Another great day on my bike. 61 degrees and sunny. Hardly any wind. Heading to Syracuse New York and 86 miles of hills. Not as many as yesterday but it seemed like quite a bit. Got a late start to get my GPS Garmin to work but caught up. Also was getting it on and missed a turn and added an additional mile. Need to pay more attention. No other problems though. Here is the weather and itinerary.

Here are some of the sights on the way.

This is the finger lakes region and Watkins Glen for those that like racing close by.

Our first sag or rest stop was at beautiful Seneca Falls lake.

Here are some pictures of the ride to our 2nd sag at an ice cream store. Yummy.

We were at the Erie canal. Read the sign. Very interesting especially since we have a portion in Ohio.

Few more pictures and the little guy I saved from getting run over. Had to stop traffic to those him to the side in the river.

Just before the hotel I had to turn around to take a couple of pictures of the artwork on the building. Did a great job and so realistic.

Well another down and Herkimer New York tomorrow. 70 miles there. Short compared to most of them. Not sure what the climbing will be. Doesn't matter cause we do what we got to do. It is what it is! 4 more days of regular riding then the last one of 17 miles to the beach. 3103.5 miles, 93,080 feet of climbing and 92,745 of feet descending so far. Amazing and a few more to add on. Here's the ride from relive.

Thanks for following and more tomorrow.
